Crazy Week

I’ve had a crazy week. Had been sick with some sort of stomach “thang”. I don’t know what it was but it hurt like fawk. For 2 days straight, but today has been relief.
I went to the doctor yesterday and did an ultrasound to look at my boy and my cervix to make sure we were both healthy and everything looked good. I talked to my doctor afterwards and realized that I’m beginning not to like him much. I still had concerns about the horrible cramps I get and these other random aches I get. He brushed it off as “You’re normal” .. which may be true but I wish he’d go into more detail to explain to me why it is normal so I don’t have to be so damn nervous. And I hate that he rushes through our visits and does the bare minimum with me. He’s so quick to rush out the door that I always have to be like “WAIT!” just to ask all the questions I want answered and even then I don’t get them all. I know a lot of my concerns may seem stupid to him and he may hear them all day long, but it means something to me, you know? That’s his job and this is my first time!
I called a new OBGYN earlier today and initially the receptionist said that he doesn’t take patients who are as far along as I am (25 weeks today) but she would talk to him for me. Before they closed she called me back and said he agreed to see me YAY! I hope it all works out. I’ve read reviews and he seems to be one of the best in this town and very personable and nice .. which I would really like and appreciate.
I also took the Gestational Diabetes test yesterday. It actually wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. From most women I heard it was torture and the drink was nasty. I didn’t think so. Now to hope there is no diabetes!
This entry is everywhere because I’ve been feeling lazy and not much in the writing mood, but I need to keep this updated.

Gah. I’m fucking huuuge now. My guy friends tease me about it. I’m beginning not to even care anymore though.

That's terrific news about the new doctor!!
I'm glad you switched, I'd hate for you to be miserable for the rest of your pregnancy with the other doctor!
