I am a single mother of a biracial baby boy just trying to make it on my own. This journey is hard, yet rewarding. Blogging is my therapy, these words are my heart, and people doing better and being inspired by what I have written is my passion and hope.

You guys were right. As a tiny baby Jack hated the flat bed, but now he makes it a happy to climb off the Boppy nightly and lay flat next to me. I guess he's into it now.

haha, that's great!

Anna also slept on a Boppy lounger next to me for those first couple months. As soon as she was too big (and moved too much!) we messed around with the crib so that one side of the mattress was up slightly higher than the other (because Anna also slept much better when she was slightly propped up).

That lasted us another month or so, and then... well, she got to the point where she would end up on the opposite side of the crib by morning, so I finally had to put the crib mattress back in its appropriate place and she had to start sleeping flat on her back. She adjusted to the new position just fine, and I'm sure Jack will too when that time comes :)
